The thin, black, conductive top layer is made of PU (polyurethane) leather.
Articles made of polyurethane (PU) are very consumer-friendly and safe. Our PU leather is free from vinyl and phthalate.
The thin, black layer of PU leather is infused with conductive carbon. Carbon is the second most common element in the human body after oxygen and is conductive.
The non-conductive underlayer is made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer). One of the safest foams on the market, free from latex and PVC.
The same type of foam is used in shoes and in children's foam toys.
The training mat is connected to the earthing cable using a push button. This physically discharges the electrical charge as soon as you stand on the mat.
